![]() Later in the books Logan is supposed to bring grandpa Toby medicine from his shop but they don't have to worry about that because they got rid of grandpa's character all together. What was the point of changing Logan's family to butchers instead of pharmacists when they don't even show the kids going to church and meeting him at his dad's store. They don't show the heart break of these children being sold for 500$ a piece and being ripped away from each other. ![]() No this movie shows him bringing food right away and as soon as Sara leaves he gives away the children. ![]() How much they had to over come to become who they grow to be?I understand two hours is a short time for an in depth view but they glossed over the poverty, Sara leaving (who by the way was not a loud mouth red head as she is in the book) heaven and Tom going out and stealing food just to survive because they had no clue when their father would return with food. How are you supposed to see how poor the children were. The cottage they live in looks like a regular home. ![]() From the begining they ruined this adaption. ![]()
